Late Cancellation/No Show Fees: You will receive a text message confirming your cleaning service a day or two in advance. Please confirm with us to avoid any missed cleanings. If you wish to cancel or reschedule a cleaning appointment, at least 24 hour notice is required. If a cleaning appointment is cancelled less than 24 hours in advance a $10 fee may be applied. Also, if the cleaner is unable to enter the house for any reason, a cancellation fee of $20 (trip charge) may be charged. We are implementing this policy to ensure we continue to provide flexibility to all of our clients and our employees. We encourage you, as a valued client of our company to avoid any charges that may occur by providing us a key, leaving door(s) unlocked, providing a garage code, etc. We will also leave a card at each cleaning letting you know the date when your next cleaning will be scheduled.
On the rare occasion that Sweep Away must cancel a scheduled cleaning appointment with less than a 24 hour notice, and has no available openings for another cleaning appointment within the next five business days, the next cleaning will be provided at a discount. If our offer to reschedule is refused by the client for any reason, no credit will be granted.
Office Hours: Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. If we are very busy, you may get our voice mail. We return our calls promptly. If you reach us after hours, your call will be returned by our next business day.
Cleaning Times: We do our best to be prompt and meet the cleaning time indicated, but traffic and other clients may affect our schedule. Please allow an hour window for your cleaner to arrive. If no arrival time is indicated, then the cleaning will be completed between the hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. Our cleaners appreciate your flexibility. When possible, please allow for an open time frame rather than an exact arrival time.
Assigned Cleaner: Your assigned cleaner will be your default cleaner with the exception of illness, vacation, personal emergency, or an ongoing schedule change. In the event that your default cleaner has an ongoing schedule change, calls off of work or no longer works here, they will be replaced with another trained cleaner who will have your customized work Order. You are welcome to audition multiple cleaners until you find your ideal match.
Loss or Breakage: Sweep Away is licensed, bonded and insured well beyond the minimum amounts purchased by many cleaning companies. Ask us for details or copies of insurance limits.
Payment Policy: Payment is due on the day of service by check/cash (preferred) or Venmo (free service). Returned checks are subject to a $25.00 fee.
Scheduling policy for all recurring services: We try to stay as flexible as possible with our clients. We know that things come up and you may need to reschedule your assigned cleaning. Your rate will increase by $10 if you decide you need to decrease the frequency of the cleaning by more than a month.
Ex: You receive cleanings on a monthly basis. You decide to skip your scheduled cleaning and get it two weeks later. Your rate will increase $10 from what you usually pay. We have decided to implement this policy change because of scheduling conflicts in the past and so we can continue to stay flexible with all of our clients and our staff.
